
Porto Cristo is a very sheltered bay with a beautiful extensive beach of fine sand and shallow water . An old fishing village it is possible to discover numerous hotels, bars, restaurants and a large shopping area. Recommended are the boat trips from which you can see down to the sea bed.
Porto Cristo is also a natural harbour, used for both fishing and sport, which despite modernization has not lost its natural charm. The features which make it stand out especially are the beach and the natural caves of Drach and Hams, the most visited on the island.

The area made up by the coves of Cala Anguila, Cala Mendia and s'Estany d'en Mas provides the tourist with a wide choice of modern high quality hotels.

Cales de Mallorca, the main tourist spot on the Manacor coast, is made up of three coves (Cala Antena, Cala Domingos Grans and Cala Domingos Petits) which provide an ideal family holiday environment. The cliffs and sea bed of the locality are ideal for diving.


Within the district of Manacor more than 32 square kilometers have been designated as areas of special natural interest with more than six of them being formed by the rocky coast fronting on to the sea in a chain of virgin coves of great natural beauty. This area, situated between s'Estany d'en Mas and Cales de Mallorca, has a special quality, a coastal landscape of great and unchanging beauty containing a wide variety of plants ans wildlife.
